Supper bowl 2012
Nathan and I hosted our first ever supper bowl party which was a lot of fun. We had about 26 of our closest friends and it was a swell time of food, fun, fellowship of and football to.
Dinner w Lethco's
We were blessed to host the Lethco family last Saturday night for diner. They gave birth to a beautiful baby girl in November and it was my first time getting to meet Ms. Amy Gail. She was so precious!! We enjoyed the fellowship we have with the and talking about the many things the Lord is doing in our lives.
Food lion closing
About two weeks ago a lot of my clients at the salon were telling about the Food Lion Grocery store going out of business and that everything was 50% off i went straight over after work. After battling empty shelves, masses of people, no shopping carts and waiting in line for a hour I'd say I made out pretty well. I chalk it up as a grocery shopping success!
Rachel and Jaden's dinner visit.
Now settled in our new home we have been able to use this blessing to serve others and open our doors to friends and family. We recently had Rachel and her precious son over for homemade pizza. After dinner Nathan and Jaden read. He is going to be an amazing father some day!
The MUSC oyster roast
Coming from the Midwest it has taken me awhile to become accustomed to the southern tradition of oyster roasts. I now however enjoy them very much and appreciate the close quarters of eating around the shucking tables with friends.
Our two year anniversary
We praise the Lord for giving us two wonderful years of marriage thus far!! We celebrated by going to Johns Island,SC to view the angel oak. It happens to be the largest living thing this side of the Mississippi. We then went downtown for a little window shopping and a lovely dinner at Hanks seafood restaurant. We also took a walk to Marion square to see the Christmas tree before they took it down. I love my husband and best friend. I thoroughly enjoyed our day together.
